You will also work as part of a team and liaise with a variety of colleagues and health care professionals. Prospective students need to have a genuine interest in the medical field, be tactful, discreet, sensitive and have empathy when needed. Upon completion of this course you will feel confident in applying to work in a general practice, any of the allied health areas, a hospital, clinics or private practice.

The Medical Terminology & Administration short course was developed to teach you the specialist skills necessary to gain employment in medical administration and reception.
This intensive program is delivered over 2 days, the 1st day concentrating on terminology and the 2nd day focussed on reception/administration. This program will run from 9-4 with small classes guaranteeing individual attention.

Students must use the correct spelling and be able to define words upon completion of the course, demonstrating understanding and proficiency, so they can understand medical conditions, treatments and communicate effectively with medical professionals.
